Biography

My name is Maja Topcagic. I am 29 years old and have graduated with a degree in mathematics and computer science. I work as a freelance photographer in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am a self taught photographer, who enjoys photographing and editing much more over the years. At first, I have been doing this job as a hobby, but over the years it turned to be much more professional because I do it with dedication, passion and love. I think you can feel it when looking into my photography.

My first DSLR was given and sent to me as a gift, by a person that I actually have not met! That was one of the most beautiful moments in my life; I finally could pursue my love for photography. Back then, I was taking photos with my mobile phone, and I would retouch them in Photoshop. Then my dream came true. Now I use Canon 5D Mark III digital camera, 135mm f/2 and 50mm f/1.4 Canon lenses and 85mm Art f/1.4 and 35mm Art f/1.4 Sigma lenses. I am entirely self-taught photographer and retoucher. I use mostly natural light in combination with a portable silver aluminum reflector, but I do also a lot in studio.
